Summary: Juneau operates entirely client-side on your iOS device. We do not operate developer tracking servers or sell your data. Your Google Jules API keys are encrypted locally using Apple iOS Keychain Services, and in-app purchase transactions are verified directly via Apple App Store and RevenueCat.
1. Information We Collect & Zero Telemetry Guarantee
Juneau is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. We do not collect, harvest, track, or sell your personal data, source code, activity logs, browsing history, or behavioral metrics.
2. In-App Purchases & Subscription Processing
Juneau offers paid subscriptions and lifetime access options ("Juneau Pro"). To process purchases and validate active subscription entitlements, the Application integrates with Apple In-App Purchases and RevenueCat, Inc. ("RevenueCat").
- Payment & Billing Data: All financial transactions, billing details, payment methods, and billing addresses are processed exclusively by Apple Inc. via the App Store. The Developer does not store, collect, or have access to your payment card details or banking information.
- Subscription Status Verification: When you purchase or restore Juneau Pro, an anonymous App User ID and purchase receipt metadata (such as purchase dates, product identifiers, and entitlement active status) are transmitted to RevenueCat for entitlement validation. RevenueCat handles this data strictly in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
3. API Key Credentials & Local Hardware Encryption
To use Juneau, you provide your personal Google Jules API Key generated at jules.google.com/settings/api. Your API key is:
- Stored exclusively on your iOS device using Apple iOS Keychain Services (
kSecClassGenericPassword), protected by hardware-level Secure Enclave encryption.
- Never sent to any developer-owned server, tracking proxy, or external telemetry service.
- Purged instantly from your device's Keychain whenever you tap "Disconnect API Key" in the app's Settings menu or uninstall the app.
4. Direct API Communication
All core network communication—including fetching repository metadata, task sessions, activity streams, implementation plans, and transmitting prompt instructions—occurs directly between your iOS device and Google's official API endpoints (https://jules.googleapis.com) over secure TLS/HTTPS protocols.
5. Data Minimization & Source Code Confidentiality
Juneau only processes repository metadata and task activity payloads returned directly by the official Google Jules API for the sole purpose of rendering the user interface on your screen. Juneau does not store, index, transmit, or back up your repository source code on external servers.
